We Remember

Here is my grandfather. World War 1 vet.

I took the kids to the Memorial Day parade today. There were several vets in the parade of course. I really got a little teary eyed when I saw very old men from the local nursing homes being pushed down the street in their wheelchairs. They wore their American Legion caps indicating what war they had served in. Very touching.

Thank you, vets!

Martha has this same picture on her site. I should've put it on mine too, but I won't. Thank you vets!!

I noticed that. I decided I didn't care because it's the most appropriate picture I have.

Here you go, Ms. Prisc. No excuses now. You don't have to be trendy. No one wants you to be trendy ... but ... you *can* be fashionable.
