Library Success...putting it on my resume!

I have not blogged at all about the library work. It has been going great! I wish I had pictures, but I wasn't comfortable snapping pictures without permission from the parents...and I didn't ask.

Tonight was the second pajama story time and it was a lot of fun! It was a huge group of kids. Last week there were only about 10. This week there were at least 25 kids. I didn't count! Everyone seemed to have fun! Thanks to some great technical support, the videos were shown without a problem either.

Tomorrow is the last preschool story-time. I've really enjoyed it and am glad that I can give the children's librarian a positive report when she comes back from France!

We will just have to imagine a group of twenty-five pajama clad children gathered at your feet. Did you have curlers in your hair? I need to know for my mental picture.

no curlers. I did have pajama pants and slippers on and a t-shirt.

Hooray for summer reading programs and the fun you had doing these!

I did our library's summer reading program for 10 years, until the librarian who didn't feel like she could handle them retired and the new librarian started doing them. It was always great fun, but also always a good feeling to be finished for the year!

What's next on your journey to being a full-fledged librarian?

I'm glad it's been a good experience. :)

Joeks,

I have one more semester to go. I am doing two internships-one at a primary school and another at a high school. Then I am done!

This sounds so delightful, Priscilla! I can't imagine all those kids, though! What a GROUP! You must have been a real hit to have had the number increase so much!!!
