Bundle up!

It's still winter here...although today is a mild 30 degreesF...rather than the 10 degrees it was a few days ago. This is the time of year when I feel like I've had enough and wonder what it would be like to live somewhere where spring comes much earlier. I've been feeling better, although I still have a cough that seems to be lingering on and on. I must get on with my life though.

I roasted a chicken last night for dinner...so I guess I will make Chicken soup tonight. Soup and homemade bread sounds good. What are you having for dinner?

Oh Pricilla, I hear you. I too wish spring was on it's way, instead we get more cold weather. My neck and shoulders always stiffen up and ache when it's so cold. I could go for sitting in a hot tub!

The chicken sounds sooo good. I think I may make vegetable soup tonight. At least that is the plan.

That cough seems to be hanging on all across the country. My youngest and half the school have had one for too long also. Anyway, glad you're starting to feel better.

Tonight T and I went to the last regular season basketball game, so I ate a baked potato from the concession stand. We left the guys at home to fend (or as B says "defend") for themselves. Looks like they just did simple hot dogs and beans. But last night I made beef and noodles!

Oh, it is really cold at our house right now!
I can't wait for winter to end. Summer is so nice and warm. Daisy wants summer to come, too. No really long rides right now!

Martha, you remembered! Lol! It ended up not cooking (the oven isn't working right) so we went out to eat.

I am a little late answering but I had a ploughman's lunch for dinner. I didn't feel like cooking.

Hi Priscilla, yes, I meant this one.

Yes, I agree. It's refreshing. I needed a change! The empty swingset was very depressing.
