I've been sick with a chest cold for days now. It hasn't been fun...but I am surviving. Today I finally ventured out of my house for the first time in several days. I think I'm on my way back. I'm a little tired of coughing.
My camera has also been sick. I dropped it several months ago and the flash broke. When I inquired as to how much it would cost to get it fixed, I was given the quote of approximately $125. It is a $200 camera that my husband paid $185 for because he got a good deal on it. To add insult to injury, I found out that there would be a $40 shipping and handling fee on top of the repair. You do the math. So I have had a camera with a broken flash for many months now. I was able to take this nice picture of Sherman on Museum setting because of the big picture window in the room.
I am trying to figure out what to do about this dilemma. I can send my broken camera in and get a 15% discount coupon towards the purchase of anything in Kodak's store. I can possibly buy a refurbished camera at a good price. It is all so frustrating and I'm still irritated with myself for being so clumsy!

That is lousy. I don't know what I would do. Nice picture of Sherman though.
Keep taking on museum setting. Spring is on the way and outside pictures are always much better than the flash photos are.
That is frustrating. That is a great picture of Sherman, he looks really good against that colorful rug.
I'm glad your cold is getting better. I was there a couple of weeks ago. Michael has a cold now.
Bummer....Hope you find a satisfactory answer to the camera delima.
Sherman is the most handsome dog.
When I dropped my camera and broke a piece on it that was going to cost more to repair than I wanted to pay, I got a new one. It ended up being a good investment considering the advances in technology between getting the old one and the new one.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
The photo of Sherman is cute, I didn't know there was such a thing as Museum setting.
I'd check the sales for cameras before fixing it. And Martha is right about outdoor photos; you may not need a flash until late next fall.
YEah, limp it along until you can get a great deal on a new one. That Kodak deal sounds good.
Hope you're feeling better soon...
That's a very nice picture of Sherman! He's so cute!
Sorry you have been under the weather. Me to. Cough,, conjestion etc. Sucks huh?
Sherman is one cool looking hound dog. I agree limp away until sun light and a good price on a camera.
I hope you feel better.
