It has been cold and damp with constant rain for two days straight. There are puddles in my yard and a river in my basement. I can't stand it! I need a hot cup of tea to get rid of the dampness. I long for summer. I didn't want to blog about the miserable weather so I looked through my pictures to find summer. What could be happier and more summerier than a kid on a pogo stick and another on a bicycle?
Is it sunny anywhere in the world? I wish I could get on a plane and fly there!

Hey! That's MY kid on a pogo stick! Funny thing, he was hopping across the church parking lot on one just the other night.
Yes, somewhere in the world it is warm and sunny. It was here last week and it will be back soon. I suppose you want it "nowzedom". (That was the word verification.)
Well, Priscilla....don't whine! (I can say that because in the heat of summer ***I*** whine and beg my family to send me to Siberia...anywhere it is cooler!) I dread the heat and humidity as I feel dizzy, miserable, and like I just don't want to move! I don't sweat...that is the problem.
Soon, everything will suddenly turn green and colorful and life will begin anew, as is His plan! So rest. I am sorry it is so damp and chilly, though. That really is most uncomfortable!
Priscilla ~ hop on a plane and head for Burbank CA.... I'll pick you up and we are ten minutes from my house.
The sun is shinning, flowers blooming, and I'll get you a big glass of ice tea.
Don't I wish that were truly possible... BTW would you bring Martha too.
Wanda...that sound so fun. Maybe some day I'll be able to take you up on it.
I just read this, and as I type the sun is shining brightly. Your wish came true! I didn't like the rain either, but I was glad it wasn't snow.
I am so blessed that Wanda asked you to take me along. I was just thinking, "Aw, I want to go to Wanda's house." :)
It is sunny today and summer is coming. Goodness! It's almost April.
Australia!!
Sounds good, Jenny!
