Little School House in the Snow

Here's a piece of area history. This school house, located in what is known as "Vine Valley" was busy with children from 1874-1937. I plan to get another shot of it in the springtime...and then maybe again in the summer. I love history. If I am ever up near my homtown with my camera, I'll try to remember to take a picture of the school my grandpa went to as a boy.

I was going to say I'm glad we didn't have to walk to school in this kind of weather. Then I remembered we did.

I liked walking to school too. I'm just glad I don't have to walk in this weather. That wind can be vicious!

I think I took my kids on a field trip to the schoolhouse that your grandpa went to. It was so fun!

I had a 50 minute bus ride to school. It was only 10 miles away.
