Little Maestro

Alicia is getting better and better on her viola all the time. This is her first year taking this instrument and I am very pleased with how much she has progressed. She has figured out how to play "Jesus Loves Me" and is planning on playing it for her teacher on Friday. Songs like that are never taught in the public schools. I hope Mr. I is cool about it.

What a precious picture. I hope she sticks with it. I played violin for 4 years in grammer school, and then got interested in other things....~~ :(

This brings back memories of Steven playing the violin, although unfortunately he didn't keep up with it. Great photo!

Very nice. I'm curious... what makes that a viola rather than a violin? It looks for the size of a violin.

I think it is just the size. They have smaller sizes of all the instruments for smaller people. I really don't know.

She looks so cute!
It is great when the children learn an instrument and make progress and enjoy it.

Tell her to stick with it because she'll get in awesome teacher in 6th and 7th grade! LOL! I love orchestra, and it only gets more fun and easier as you get older...Go Alicia!

I had Mr. I, too, in Elementary...I wasn't a big fan of him, but only because he always spoke German to me and it got annoying...oops, maybe I shouldn't say that..(?).. :D
Anyway, nice picture, enjoy, Alicia!
