I will never forget where I was or how I just could not tear myself away from the television the whole day. What a sad day. It seemed unreal while it was happening.
Denis and I have recently watched two movies that do a good job at unraveling what happened that day. One is called 9/11, a documentary that was intended to be about a rookie's first year in a NYC fire department. They just happened to be filming on that day. the other was United 93, using the flight that didn't reach it's target as a backdrop for showing how the events unfolded in the control towers, military leadership and as much as we know about that flight and it's passengers. Both were really good, but not for the squeamish.
I remember a co-worker saying that day that she was thinking about all of those people who left things unsaid or maybe just had a disagreement with their spouse and then never saw them again. That's one thing that sticks in my mind when I think about that day.
I think those movies would be hard to watch but maybe someday I will watch them.

Totally sad again....
We'll never forget those lost or left to grieve.
That's a nice post.
I wrote my memories last year... What an unforgetable day that was!
I'll never forget what I was doing that day when I heard. The event was extremely shocking and sad...still is.
Yes, we will never forget!

I got a prayer chain from church or else I never would have known. I wathced the towers fall on a tiny black and white TV out in the barn.

Thank you. What a nice way to give tribute. We will never forget. God Bless America.
