Tonight was our second attempt at making homemade ice cream with Jamie's new ice cream maker. The first time was last week and the results were not that great. We learned some things and tried again. Here is Alicia cranking away. She's a trooper! Even Sherman was quite interested.
It was a success! Everyone enjoyed it! The flavor? Chocolate of course!

Very 'cool'! I had an electric ice cream maker years ago in Germany. It worked ok, but we ended up not using it often, because it is so much easier to buy in the store. However, when you have guests and you serve it as dessert, it was kind of fun to say 'this is our homemade ice cream' ;-)
Now you'll have to come over and show me how it works so I can use mine! Looks yummy!
Yummmm! Heather has an electric one and has fun creating all sorts of flavors. Very yummy!!
That looks really good. Does your dog like ice cream (not chocolate of coarse)? Our dog accidentally had ice cream once, never again!
Our dog likes anyting! (except for garlic and jalapeno peppers)
MMMH it looks delicious. I Have also a ice-cream maker but I don´t use it very much.
Thats so cool!! I wish I had one! :-)
What, a dog that doesn't like garlic? Our dog doesn't like coffee. He'll eat anything but not everything agrees with him.
Yummy!
Frezzers full of Ice cream, homemade ice cream, and I am on a doctor ordered diet! ohh, it looks so good though. Eat one bowl for me, please. Savor every little drop.
I have been asking for an ice cream maker for quite some time, but so far no luck. I have two ice cream cookbooks and would really like to try out some experimental flavors.
I researched it. The White
Mountain Ice cream maker is supposed to be the best.
