On Tuesday morning I saw these two fat turkeys walking along the side of the road. They are funny creatures! When I got out to take a picture, they really raised a ruckus and started walking much faster.
I would've walked a lot faster too if some stranger stopped to take a picture of me while I was walking down the road. Lol! They're pretty smart little creatures.
Pricilla, I had to drop in and tell you the bad news but I see someone already did. We have wild turkeys around here and they would never let you get that close to them. Guinea hens they are and they will make a lot of noise if you disturb them. People around here use them as watchdogs because they will always let you know if someone is coming. Thanks for the photo's

Actually, there are 3 of them there. You can see that if you click on the picture to enlarge it.
It's Easter not Thanksgiving.
I think we should drive down to Canandaigua and go for a walk with you sometime!
Those are beautiful birds. The feathers look so nice and fluffy.
These were actually taken in Middlsex.
Cool birds! One time I ran over a turkey. It was yucky.
Eeeeeeeeeewwwww!
Hey Beth, was he stuffed?
You should have caught them for christmas dinner - it is a long way away but they looked nice and plump
Wow! Great job with the pictures! I can't believe they're so big!
Hon, those aren't turkeys! LOL! Those are guinea Hens!
Really? Well...I guess you know that I'm a suburbn chick! Thanks for the correction.
I thought they had odd feathers for turkeys. The turkeys here have brown or black feathers.
Either way...I'm sure they would be delicious stuffed and roasted!
