Has Calvin and Hobbes been in my backyard?

Teenagers playing in the snow...in a collaborative effort to create an army in my backyard! I love it! Audra and Jacob work on soldiers.
Allen creates another soldier base.
Jacob working on the army general's horse.
The finished army. Only one has a helmet! I wish I could hear the conversations of our neighbors!

I love it! It's just too wonderful. How many snowmen are out there anyway? Didja send a picture to the local newspaper?
I think Josiah would love this too.

They actually built more men and another horse after I took the picture.

This is so awesome! What a great idea! I wish I had an army of snowmen in my backyard, although Koty might not like it. He's funny about men, and so many of them standing so still and not saying anything might freak him out. How does Sherman like them?

Dillon would have taken them all on single handedly. He wasn't happy until a snowman was completely obliterated.
