Our Town is White!

Windy and bitter cold lately.I took these pics on the way home from dropping off Alicia at school this morning. The white stuff arrived yesterday and today...and a little bit on Wednesday too.
Too early to shop...so these pedestrians probably are either on their way to work, or to the bank.
A street in my neighborhood.
Finally, my humble abode where a hot cup of coffee and my slippers await.

It is frigid and blowy here, but we somehow escaped the snow this time around. Maybe the next belt of lake effect will catch us.

It is so pretty.
I like the effect of the snow falling across the page too.

Brrrr, but I like it right now, it fits the season.

Did you all get dumped on with the big storm that went through? It sounds like it was a bit hit and miss.

No. We only have about as much snow as the pictures show. It's a pretty nominal amount. However...schools were closed Wednesday because a wind storm knocked the power out. The wind storm is why there is a branch laying on the ground in the last picture. That was the extent of the damage in my yard...thank the Lord!
