I'm beginning to feel the crunch of school and deadlines. I'm wondering how it'll all get done. I am spinning so many plates right now. Many are getting neglected. I'm sure that I could probably organize my time better so that I could spin them all more efficiently. My house is really going downhill fast as far as neatness goes. I have so many memos from the schools of my children tacked up on the bulletin board. There are fees to be to pay and forms to fill out and papers to write and a sign to paint and laundry to do and meetings to attend and books to read and cross country meets to go to and stories to tell and schools to contact and go to....
I think you're getting the picture. Tomorrow I am going to the local public library to return 20 children's books and I am going to check out about 20 more I think. On Friday I went to an elementary school in Geneva to observe in a library. I loved being there. On Tuesday I will go to another elementary school here in my town. On Friday I will go to a middle school. Next week I will go to at least one high school.
Meanwhile...my house is getting messier and messier by the minute. I can't stand it, but don't have the time to devote to really clean it the way it needs to be.

Just have your kids clean the house. Don't tell them I told you that though. :)
I feel your pain. If only kids cleaning the house was really the solution...
I recall a no so distant time when I could clean my whole house in a day. Now, even when I set my mind and get right to work, I find it hard to finish just one room. On Staurday I cleaned my bedroom. Oh the dust bunnies!
On Stuarday Mom cleaned her bedroom. See my blog to see what I cleaned on "Staurday".
On Stuarday I vacuumed the carpets in my house and picked up clutter, from no specific room, just from wherever.
Sorry, I almost forgot whose blog this was after reading the comments. I know how overwhelmed you must feel. I have felt this way before being a busy working mom and having to attend seminars, etc...while dealing with all the home stuff too.
I have felt this way and never went to college or held down an outside the home job.
I not only cleaned my bedroom an Staurday, I took Hannah for a haircut and attended a picnic in the rain.
Oh yes, I can relate to your spinning plates.
Somehow we get through it!
On "Staurday", I was reading a horrible book that I need to write a book report on.
Okay, from Gmj, that's the old grandma who was a working mom, party planner, avid RV/dirt bike mama, and a weekend soccer mom who had two cats, one dog and a bunch of fish. You can do it. Take 10 min. sit down and make a list. Post the list on the fridge. Everyone will benefit from you new job, so they should help you get there, in my opinion. Make it a volenteer job list, they can initial what chore they want to do for the week. Bribbery, you want an increase in your allowance when I get a new job? Then work for it now.
now you can delete this post. you will remain in my prayers either way. :) I am very proud of you.
Good suggestions, Judy. Thanks
Boy Priscilla...... You just brought back a ton of memories.
I have been a plate spinner, and four kids. It's seems like a million years ago. The kids did some, but it's not like having time to do it the way you want.
You will survive....and when it's all over...you will look back and like the rest of us say, Wow, that feels like a million years ago.
If I lived closer...I'd come over an help...honest, I would.
LOL:)Wanda
Thanks Wanda!
Oh how I can relate, all too well right now.
I can relate, too!!
Priscilla, you will get through it. Maybe your house will not be just as clean as you would like, but this is only for a "season".
I feel like this alot lately!! So I can totally understand where your coming from.
