It's been hot here lately. I haven't posted much either...and I probably will be slowing down a bit for the summer. Once in a while I promise to pop in. I probably will still be reading and commenting regularly. Tomorrow is the last day of school and it is a half day. The kids are excited to be out. I will be pretty "tied down" this summer as I have agreed to babysit a few kids for the summer. It's only for a few days a week...but I will also still be cleaning 2 places a week. I'm wondering what I have gotten myself into. I'm a little selfish with my time and space.
Other than Allen going to camp for a week and a quick jaunt to Long Island this summer, we will be staying around here. On my way to Long Island in late July, I am hoping to stop and visit Dunja.
I also have been procrastinating sending my camera to Kodak to be fixed. I dropped it some time ago and the flash doesn't work. Everything else works fine...but not having a flash has been limiting. There really is no good time to send it in as there is always a photographical event just around the corner. So I may as well just do it and get it over with! It still takes great outdoor pictures...as you can see by this wonderful picture of my feet. Do you like my new sandals?

Lovely feet, but you need some toenail polish.
Oh, and yes I do like your new sandals.
very nice feet ;-) and sandals.
Great sandals!! Poo on toe polish, it just wears off and then you have to redo it. :o) However, if you can afford a pedicure then that is another story!
Yep-I like your sandals, and your polish-less toenails. I haven't worn toenail polish since... I don't know when... until just last week I let my daughter paint them--red, no less! Kinda fun, but it's not exactly my style!
I've never been much of a nail polish person.
I've painted my toenails a time or two recently but I never like the colors. For my fingernails I like something subdued, maybe light pink. James doesn't care much for nail polish.
I guess I'm out voted, but I still like my toes painted!
I like my toenails painted too and that reminds me...
Yup! Love polished toes!! Fingernails are a bit more difficult cuz I tend to pick at them with the slightest little chip. UGH! But still fun. :)
Idea # 56, when I ever get there we all can get together and get a pedicure, in mass mind ya. No, not in the same pool of water! Yuck! I mean invade a shop like a wedding party but no wedding, giggles galore! Think they would give us a discount or charge more for the disruption? :o)
Ooh! sounds fun gmj... I had a pedicure once when I went to Texas. My cousins treated me and it was oh, so nice. If only I had known I was going, I would've shaved my hairy legs!
I like the sandals too.
I haven't been blogging much lately. Just been busy.
I like to paint my nails sometimes (all of them) but I don't like the french manicure on feet. It looks like claws. yuk.
