Ruth says I need to update my blog. She's right. It is rather boring looking at the same thing over and over again. Sometimes there are good reasons for it to remain static...like tons of school work and deadlines. The good news is, I am almost done! All I have left to do is finish a research paper and take an online open book quiz. I already have five pages written for the paper. So it is almost time to relax...just like Sherman here is doing with a coke on a hot summer day.
Actually, my house is a wreck since it has been neglected for so long. The first thing I plan to do after returning home from Long Island (we are leaving to go there Wednesday morning for Thanksgiving), is to clean my house from top to bottom! And of course there will be the whole Christmas holiday to keep me busy. I don't feel mentally ready for that. It does not seem real to me that it is going to be here soon. The other thing I am planning on doing is more reading. Yup! More reading. There were many children's books that I heard about that I wanted to read while taking children's Literature. So many books....but not enough time. I have a list going!

I have been looking forward to your time to relax too. How long until classes start back up again? Somewhere in between we need to get together. I miss you.
They will start again on January 12.
I like that picture of Sherman the German. Yep, the semester is almost over... it's crunch time for me :/
Darling picture... Guess Sherman doesn't like diet!!
I love reading children's book to our little ones.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Priscilla - you are amazing!!!
Hope you're relaxing now....but I think we're ahead of you, so does that mean you're traveling at the moment for Thanksgiving?? (we're on Wednesday night atm)
Love the photo!
Ruth.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thanks for posting. My blog is very slow lately too. I am glad your schoolwork is done and hope you get some rest. Sherman is cute. 'Have a Coke and a smile.'
Thanks for visiting my blog! I am so very busy, too!! I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Nice to hear from you, even if it is only in bloggerworld ;-)
Priscilla...if it's a consolation to you! I am always cleaning my house and every day it looks the same than the day before.Tons of hair from all the animals.Woodchips from the stove, dust, crumbs. It is the same old, same old every day. Then I think about the Bible verse that we are supposed to do everything with joy....sigh...And every Christmas I am not mentally prepared for it.Life is too busy. That's why.
