Visit to CT and L.I.

I don't have any picture to post. I visited Dunja Tuesday night. Stayed over night and left around 3:30 yesterday. It was so nice to see her again. Nice to see the kids too. I ate at "Old Heidelberg". Delicious is all I have to say!!! My husband was very jealous. I will have to make sure he gets there on another trip down. Dunja seems to be doing well. Don't forget to pray for here and her family. Grief is a long road.

I am on Long Island right now. I am pretty much doing nothing today...which is sort of nice. It is early and this could get old. I wish I brought my watercolors with me.

I didn't know you are gone!
Have fun in whatever you do! Is the whole family there?
It is great that you met Dunja. Yes, she needs prayers!

Yes, I am visiting Jamie's family on Long Island. Also, Jamie will be competing in another triathlon here on the island on Sunday. Will make sure to post about it when I get home Sunday night!

I'm sorry...that post was hastily written and I didn't make it clear. We all drove down as a family to Dunja's restaurant. The plan was to eat and then my family would leave me there and catch the ferry to L.I. However...they didn't have time to eat and then catch the last ferry. We were scrunched for time. They met Dunja and then had a quick drink. Then they had to leave to make it to the last ferry leaving for the night.

I stayed with Dunja and the following afternoon, she drove me to Bridgeport where I was a walk-on passenger for the ferry to L.I.

My family picked me up about an hour and a half later in Port Jefferson. Does that make sense?

Sounds reasonable to me. I'm glad you had a chance to stop and see her.
