Chimney Bluffs

On Saturday our family hiked Chimney Bluffs up on Lake Ontario. There are these giant sandstone formations carved by years of wind and water.
Jamie's cousin Jeff was up visiting from Georgia. They were very close as kids. It was good to see him. Here Jamie is in white and Jeff snaps a picture of the bluffs.

You can get an idea of how big the bluffs are by clicking on this picture to enlarge it. You will see people on the beach.

God is quite a sandcastle builder, don't you think?

I thought about suggesting the bluffs when James asked what we should do on Sunday afternoon. We haven't been there in a while, but we went mini-golfing instead. I was feeling way to sleepy for hiking. After the golf I went home and took a long nap.

How did your kids like it?

Adam's never been there and I've always wanted to take him, but he never seems up for it when a good oppurtunity arises.
